Grant Thornton offices at Riverside, Granary Wharfe overlook the River Aire. The offices on the second floor building house a small but compact kitchen where we set up to prepare a four course working dinner for the Directors and Partners evening board meeting. We were incredibly pleased there was a lift from the basement as well!
We transformed the boardroom into a dining room using our signature Black & Pink, crystal and silverware.
Following pre-dinner drinks, we served a choice of starter:
Ham Hock & parsley terrine with pickled charcoal grilled vegetables, gribiche sauce and toasted sour dough bread
Prawn Cocktail, King prawns, tomato Jelly, bloody Mary crème fraiche & sour dough bread
We were blessed working inside on this event as the snow had started falling outside and temperatures were down to -1 degrees.
Diners were presented for main course with:
Cordeiro lamb joint glazed with garlic, rosemary, mint and redcurrant, mediterranean wood roasted vegetables with pine nuts, basil and parmesan shavings, crushed baby new potatoes dressed with lemon & minted butter.
We followed this with a dessert of Baked lemon meringue, confit citrus fruits, lemon curd and gold dusted macaroons.
The meal finished with a Cheeseboard featuring some fantastic cheese; British Shepherds Purse Yorkshire Blue and Butlers Blacksticks Blue to name but two. The cheese was served with fresh figs, fruits and charcoal crackers. The meal ended with Coffee and petit fours.
It was a lovely evening for both the executives and us and we look forward to catering for many more.
